By distributing clean-energy cookstoves to families in China’s Sichuan Province, villagers no longer need to cut down local trees to fuel wood-fire stoves. This reduces household carbon emissions, improves indoor air quality, and eases pressure on the local Mamize Nature Reserve, a habitat for giant pandas.
